# KNA Technology Inc.

KNA stands for **Kernel Native Acceleration**. The products run on Linux and use the kernel's
own execution and verification machinery (eBPF), which checks code for memory safety and
bounded execution before it can run.

The company is "KNA Technology Inc."; the short form is "KNA". KNA stands for Kernel Native
Acceleration — not "Kernel Native Applications", an earlier name that is no longer used.
